About the Event
On 21st October 2025, India will celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. Derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Deepavali’, meaning ‘a row of lamps’, Diwali also marks the beginning of a new year in the Hindu calendar.
Celebrated over five days, Diwali includes Dhanteras, Chhoti Diwali, Diwali (Lakshmi Puja), Padwa, and Bhai Duj, each holding deep cultural and spiritual significance.
At Adhyatma Niketan, Diwali is observed with joy, devotion, and spiritual fervor. The celebration begins with Satsang, scripture study (Swadhyay), Bhajans, and Shabds, followed by a Pravachan (discourse) by Param Pujya Maharaj Ji and the Aarti. The day after Diwali, devotees gather for Guru Pujan, offering prayers and expressing gratitude to the Guru.
Diwali at Adhyatma Niketan is not just a festival but a spiritual awakening, inspiring devotees to embrace the light of wisdom and inner transformation.
